HR Generalist

We are part of Gannett – USA Today Network, which is one of the largest-selling newspapers in North
America. REACHLOCAL India specializes in two major areas: Print and Digital advertising. Graphics,
imaging, pagination, and layout of print advertisements. In terms of digital advertising, we provide SEM,
SEO, and social media advertising.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all HR policies are up to date and compliant with government norms
- Identify employee concerns / grievances / issues proactively, that may cause disruption in near
future and initiate corrective actions. - Develop solutions which enable successful retention strategies and solve capability gaps using
internal/ external levers including development, resourcing, and training - Work with Operations Lead to review performance of employees completing probation and act
as an enabler for two-way feedback - Be a gatekeeper for employees put on Performance Improvement Plans to ensure they have the
right support system for success
- Meet deliverables in terms for SLAs defined for Employee Retention, Company Rating on Social
Media Channels and employee feedback forums like Ambition Box and Glassdoor - Coordinate with Operations Lead for conducting exit interviews and fulfilling exit formalities.Handling end-to-end recruitment including but not limited to obtaining the requirement from the hiring managers, preparing the JD, sourcing through various mediums, setting up and manage the coordination for all the rounds of interview and placing an offer to the candidate.
Skills Needed:
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Self-starter with a flair for employee communications
- Should have exposure to managing feedback on Social Media Platforms like Ambition Box and
Glassdoor
Qualifications / Eligibility Criteria :
- 3+ years of experience
- Graduate
Schedule:
- 9.30 AM – 6.30 PM (Monday – Friday + 1 Saturday working)
- May be required to work in Afternoon shift (2pm to 11pm) at least once a month to have HR visibility for
Night Shift employees
Location:
- Goregaon East, Mumbai – India.
